15-Day Return Policy

Eligibility & General Conditions

MOTORS PTY. LTD. (ABN 83 007 625 078) provides a 15-day return option on qualifying pre-owned vehicles, subject to the conditions outlined below.

  • Refund Amount: Customers are entitled to a full refund of the vehicle purchase price, excluding non-refundable costs such as payment processing, registration, inspection, or administrative fees.
  • Refund Cap: Refunds are limited to a maximum of 104% of the national wholesale market average value of the vehicle at the time the transaction was completed.
  • Eligible Purchasers: This policy applies to retail and dealer customers located within Australia who purchase vehicles from our approved inventory.

Eligible Vehicles

To be accepted for return, the vehicle must satisfy all of the following criteria:

  • Vehicle Condition: The vehicle must not have sustained any new structural damage or significant mechanical defects since delivery.
  • Minimum Transaction Value: The original sale price must be $1,000 or greater.
  • Approved Inventory: Eligible vehicle types include passenger vehicles, SUVs, utes, light commercial vehicles, and trucks that successfully passed our inspection requirements.
  • Sale Classification: Vehicles sold on an “As Is” basis remain eligible, provided all return policy conditions are fully met.

Return Terms & Conditions

Return Period & Usage Limits

The 15-day return window commences from the date the vehicle is delivered. A vehicle will no longer qualify for return if it exceeds:

  • 200 kilometres of additional usage, or
  • any form of modification or alteration following delivery.

Return Process

Customers must notify our sales team within 15 days of vehicle delivery. Our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions in accordance with this policy.

Transport & Inspection

Return Transport: MOTORS PTY. LTD. will coordinate and cover return transport exclusively through approved logistics providers.
Inspection: Returned vehicles must be presented in their original condition, free from additional wear, damage, or unauthorised alterations.
Restocking Fees: If inspection identifies damage, modifications, or excessive wear, a restocking or adjustment fee may be applied.

Refund Handling

Once the returned vehicle successfully passes inspection, any applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method, less approved deductions.

Exclusions

This return policy does not apply to new vehicles or units produced or ordered to specific customer requirements.
